End-User License Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Unencumbered Interactive Private Limited ("Company," "we," or "us") for the use of the Yap app and any related services.
License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Yap app on a compatible device that you own or control, subject to the terms of this agreement.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Yap. If you are between 13 and 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will remove their account and delete their data.
Your Account
You are responsible for your account and the activity on it. Please keep your login credentials secure. We ask that you provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know right away.
Please only create one account per person, and don't use someone else's account.
How Yap Works
Yap is built for real, live video conversations. You can capture and send video in real time through your camera, send messages, and connect with people. All video content is recorded live through the camera — there are no uploads from your gallery or files.
Use Restrictions
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app. You may not modify or create derivative works based on the app, or share, distribute, or make the app available to third parties without our permission.
Community Guidelines
Yap has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We are committed to keeping this platform safe and lawful for everyone. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating other users. Sharing sexually explicit content, especially involving minors. Impersonating someone else or misrepresenting who you are. Sending spam or unsolicited messages. Sharing content that promotes violence, hatred, or illegal activity. Attempting to access other users' accounts or Yap's systems without authorisation. Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the service. Interfering with the app's functionality or infrastructure.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms to keep the community safe. If you encounter any objectionable content or abusive behavior, please report it here.
Your Content
You own the content you create on Yap. By sending videos and messages through the service, you grant us a license to use your content for the purpose of operating and improving our services. We don't use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties.
If you delete your content or your account, we remove it from our active servers. Content you sent to others may still be visible in their conversations.
All Yap branding, logos, and designs are our intellectual property. Please don't use them without our written permission.
Privacy and Data Use
Your use of Yap is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. We access your device's camera and microphone as necessary for real-time video capture and conversations. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Updates and Changes
We may update the app from time to time. These updates may change or remove features. You agree to receive such updates automatically.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. We will process your data deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or restrict your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the community.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We're always working to improve the experience, but we can't guarantee the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any damages resulting from your use or inability to use Yap, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, India.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of Yap after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
